Our Public Education Program offers education, awareness and support to schools, organizations, community groups and workplaces to help increase awareness about Family Violence and other related issues. Our presentations are based around the principle that:

Everyone has the right to healthy relationships, with Safety, Respect and Equality.

Our presentations can be customized to meet the unique needs of each school or community request. We offer prevention and education through dynamic, interactive presentations and programs aimed at developing the skills necessary to create healthy relationships. This presentation offers an overview of all supports and services offered at the Lloydminster Interval Home Society.

Leading Change

The ACWS call to action, Leading Change™, hosts a suite of primary prevention programs and tools, all with the goal of ending violence and abuse against women.

This presentation focuses on real-life scenarios that help us recognize abusive behavior all along the spectrum of gender-based violence and develop the confidence and skills to interrupt toxic behaviors.

Participants will leave with a greater understanding of gender-based violence, abuse, harassment, and what individuals can do to stop it, as well as effective strategies for responding to gender-based violence, harassment, and sexist attitudes and language.

Domestic Violence and Your Workplace

Equip your workplace with the training tools and supports to recognize the signs of domestic violence in your place of work and understand how domestic violence relates to legislated requirements for employers to provide safe workplaces as per Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
